High Speed wireless internet access now available at The Berners Hotel.

Once you're connected, you can check your email, surf the Web at high speed, or download that file you need for your next meeting - all from the comfort of the hotel lounge, bar, conference rooms or business center. Just activate your Wi-Fi card, launch your Internet browser and you are on your way.

There are four adaptable air-conditioned function rooms at The Berners, each with natural daylight and its own ISDN line. A range of advanced technical equipment is also available. The Thomas Ashton Suite and Tyburn Suite are located on the lower ground floor which has its own reception area, cloakroom and toilets. The Fitzrovia Suite is on the first floor and can be reached by a sweeping, wrought iron staircase with a balcony overlooking the lobby.

Capacity is from 10 to 160 theatre-style.
The hotel has a Business Centre, which can provide for all your office needs.

Technical Equipment

We offer a full range of audio-visual and technical equipment, including fax machines and laptop computers. Prices are available on request.

Business Facilities

We provide full business facilities, including secretarial support, in our Business Centre, located on the ground floor of the hotel.


<b>Wireless Internet</b> Wireless Internet

The Berners provides you with a wireless broadband connection that is up to 50 times faster than standard dial-up Internet access.

To access the service, you need a notebook/laptop computer or Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) with a "Wi-Fi" (802.11b) wireless card. Wireless cards are available at most computer retailers, or you can rent or buy one from The Berners front desk.

You can buy 1 hour (£6) or 24 hours (£15) - whichever suits you. Simply pay by credit card via the secure log-in page that automatically appears when you launch your Internet browser. Alternatively, you can ask the hotel to apply the charge to your hotel bill, or pay by cash.

Conference Room rates are also available. This service is available to non-residents of the hotel.

Situated just off Oxford Street in the heart of the commercial and entertainment district of the West End. The Berners is close to numerous top stores, theatres, cinemas, clubs, casinos, as well as art galleries, museums, historic monuments, royal palaces and parks.

Getting to 'The Berners'

The London Underground:
Travel to Oxford Circus (Victoria & Central Lines) or Tottenham Court Road (Northern & Central Lines). The hotel is a 6 minute walk along Oxford Street from either station.

From London's Airports:
From Heathrow: Take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station - journey time is approx. 16 minutes, The hotel is then a short taxi ride away.

From Gatwick: Take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station, travel time is approx. 30 minutes. Then we suggest you take a taxi for the 10 minute drive to the hotel.

Main Line Trains:
If you are travelling from the North of England, the closest railway stations are Kings Cross and Euston. From the South, the nearest stations are Victoria and Charing Cross.
