INSIDE KENT HOUSE
With elegant and welcoming rooms, Kent House can cater for numbers between 20 and 300 people in either theatre, classroom, banquet or cocktail styles. No matter how big, or small your event is, Kent House can provide the perfect setting.
THE MARBLE HALL
Guests are welcomed into the classical splendour of Kent House's Marble Hall. Suitable for receptions and formal greeting parties, the white and black marble flooring is complemented by impressively high ceilings and contemporary lighting.
THE RUTLAND ROOM
Entering the Rutland Room from the Marble Hall, visitors enjoy its original embossed Victorian wallpapers in calming, neutral tones. The beautiful proportions facilitate seating and dining arrangements for up to 60 people.
THE LIBRARY
Slightly smaller than the Rutland Room and with a warm intimacy, the Library was in fact the original hallway of Kent House, prior to extensive building works in the nineteenth century. Situated at the foot of the sweeping staircase, the Library can accommodate up to 40 seated guests, with the capacity increasing for cocktail gatherings or for more informal functions.
THE SANCTUARY
At first floor level, the Sanctuary, overlooking Rutland Gardens and Hyde Park - has three inter-connecting rooms. The largest single space within Kent House, the Sanctuary again provides an elegant neutral backdrop and highly flexible space - allowing conference and dining numbers to a capacity of 180 people (with more for less formal gatherings). In keeping with the sympathetic refurbishment of Kent House in 2003, The Sanctuary retains the essence of architectural scale and splendour that characterises this splendid venue.
