The hotel is the first franchise hotel of Holiday Inn to be able to offer the fantastic Academy Conference Suites.

A self-contained conference floor with 9 modern, well-equipped meeting rooms guarantee a succesful event. Natural daylight and our attentive staff make sure your delegates are comfortable and will be able to maximise their prestations. All our rooms have state-of-the-art equipment such as ISDN lines, white board, working walls, projection screens and conference stationary. In addition we have additional audio-visual equipment in house such as TV and video, overhead projector, LCD projectors.

The Academy Lounge is a large break out area, suitable for catering purposes, as well as networking events or evening reception. During the day the lounge is available for break-out sessions or for individual business meetings. The Academy Lounge also features wireless high speed internet through Mega Beam.

London City Airport London City Airport (LCA), one mile east of Holiday Inn London-Docklands ExCeL, is the leading airport in Europe dedicated to the business traveller. With check-in and check-out times of less than ten minutes, and being less than five minutes from Holiday Inn London-Docklands ExCeL, LCA could not be better located. Currently, nine airlines service 30 European cities, including five key hubs: Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Zurich. For a hotel with an international profile, the benefits of having a thriving airport on the doorstep are obvious. Bureau de Change facilities are available. Travelling by public transport Take the Jubilee Line to Canning Town. Take the stairs up to the Docklands Light Railway. Take the train to Beckton on your left hand side. Alight at the next station Royal Victoria Station. The hotel is right next to the station - it is the terracotta building with the Holiday Inn logo. The main entrance is on the waterside. Travelling by car from City Airport Exit airport towards the airport round-about, take the 2nd exit to the 2nd round-about. At the 2nd round-about take the first exit to the 3rd round-about. At the 3rd round-about take the 3rd exit. Follow this road and the signs to Excel West. At the 4th round-about take the 3rd exit into the Excel complex. This will lead to the hotel car park.
